It is expected that the new Kia Rio will appear in domestic dealer centers no earlier than summer 2017. But, this can happen much later, because it all depends on what demand the novelty will be in Europe.

Visually, the car has changed significantly and received original parts. From the front, the sedan has a sporty, athletic look. The following elements became the features of the new car (see photo).
- The narrow radiator grille received a chrome trim. In the center is a narrowing, over which the company logo is located.
- The front optics has smooth corners and crawls onto the wings. Cars flaunt LED lights for extended versions.
- The modified front bumper has got a large air intake opening. There is a lacquered insert on top, and vertical cutouts with fog lights on the sides.
The new body looks dynamic. Distinctive details fresh look.
- Elegant side panels harmonize with neat mirrors and camouflaged B-pillars. Restyling gave Kia Rio 2019 additional door sills, a modified door shape.
- Muscular arches sheltered the wheels silver color. For the initial modification of Rio, alloy wheels of the 15th diameter are available. The extended ones will get 16 or 17-inch alloys.
- The sharp slope of the A-pillars and the sloping roofline create a dynamic silhouette of a car ready to jump.
The stern has also been restyled. They became differences.
- Sharp-angled redesigned headlight clusters. Below are the lamps reversing, and extended versions received LED backlighting.
- A neat spoiler on the trunk is combined with a fin antenna located on the roof.
- Textured bumper received original form with a central stamping for the license plate. Along the edges of the part are additional reflective elements.
- The opening in the luggage compartment and the low threshold are suitable for loading large items.
Due to the redesigned body, the dimensions of Rio have changed. The length was 4.4 meters, width or height - 1.74 and 1.47 m. The ground clearance of the car is 16 cm, but due to the installation of crankcase protection, the clearance will decrease to 15 cm.

The metallic color is already available in the basic version, you don’t have to pay extra for it.

The interior of the car has seriously changed. The salon is equipped with original accessories (see photo). Air vent grilles are trimmed with chrome trim, and the front panel can have a two-tone color. The interior is diluted with carbon inserts or metal linings.
Kia's compact sedan has plenty of room for second-row passengers. Due to the competent arrangement of the seats, three fellow travelers will be able to sit in the back. But there will not be enough space on the shoulders, so two can achieve more comfort. The engineers also worked on the soundproofing of the car and got close to the premium class models.
The three-spoke steering wheel is sheathed in leatherette, and it houses the radio and cruise control buttons. The instrument panel retained the traditional layout, with dials along the edges and a large trip computer screen.
The center console has an original two-story layout. Below is the climate control unit, and on top is a multimedia system with a touch screen. You can display a picture from the rear view camera, navigation maps or video files on the monitor.

Kia Rio 2019: specifications
car received gasoline engines and diesel. There is a liter three-cylinder unit with a small mass and modest fuel consumption. Another option is a faster 1.2-liter engine with advanced performance characteristics or a 1.6-liter diesel engine.
Officially, two versions will enter the Russian market. The first is a 1.4-liter engine that produces 100 horsepower at 132 Nm of torque. The car will accelerate to a hundred in 12.2 seconds, and due to its low weight, the consumption will be 4.8 - 8.5 liters (see video test drive).
The second option is a 1.6-liter engine. Its power is 123 horses with 151 Nm of thrust. Both modifications are front-wheel drive, and as a gearbox, you can choose between a 6-speed manual or a 6-band adaptive automatic.

Then vibrations appeared on the steering wheel, but they told me - this is a modification of sports, gt. Then a light bulb went off dashboard, then I had to change the cabin air filter unscheduled.
The standard alarm fuses periodically burned until a new chip was installed. Even the headlight had to be changed because of this - it burned out. And the parts are not cheap. Rio's refusal was the last straw fan nozzles. In short, I rented it out and crossed myself. I am against buying such a Kia.
