Tires gordiant al terain reviews. Cordiant All Terrain: Russian universal tires. Main characteristics of the all-season tire Cordiant All Terrain

All-season automobile tires are appreciated by those drivers who operate their cars in an active mode, and simply do not have the opportunity to change tires depending on the season and weather conditions. In addition, it often has good maneuverability on dirt roads and off-road. Cordiant All Terrain belongs to such models. Reviews about it, written by drivers, speak of good performance. Let's see how exactly the manufacturer managed to create a versatile and practical all-season rubber model.

Briefly about the model

The developer is a well-known domestic company Cordiant, which is a supplier of inexpensive, but at the same time quite high-quality tire products for various types of cars. Specifically, this model is positioned by the manufacturer as off-road, which will do its job well on classic cars intended for out-of-town trips, among which are UAZ and Jeep, which are loved by fishermen, on which the standard size 205 * 70 R15 is most often installed.

According to the statements of marketers, it is able to maintain its characteristics in all weather conditions, including severe frosts, rains, or hot summers. How much this is true, we will try to find out by analyzing user reviews. One thing's for sure, though - the ads are doing pretty well and the Cordiant All Terrain 98H is one of the most popular in its niche market.

Tread pattern

As is the case with any modern tire, the development of the tread pattern was not done without computer modeling. Thus, the result of the simulations was a tire with a powerful longitudinal center rib. It is responsible for the rigidity of the entire structure, which is required under high loads.

It is complemented by two middle ribs located on either side of the center of the tire working surface. They are made of separate blocks, separated by rather wide slots and located at different angles to each other. Thus, the designers managed to create a large number of multidirectional cutting edges that provide good grip on the road surface, regardless of the direction of the applied force. So, it helps to maneuver when driving on a soggy clayey dirt road, since the Cordiant All Terrain OA-1 tire confidently leads the car in the direction in which its driver wants to move.

Side tread blocks

Rubber of this class should have increased strength, since the chances of damaging it when driving off-road are much greater than on a high-quality asphalt track. That is why Cordiant All Terrain 215 * 65 R16 received powerful tread blocks located as close to the sidewalls as possible, as well as reinforced side parts with additional cord. This approach made it possible to provide reliable protection against damage due to driving over sharp obstacles, as well as in case of a strong impact.

However, these are not the only advantages obtained as a result of this arrangement of the side tread blocks. Their special shape and placement improves the rowing performance of the tire when driving through deep puddles, mud, slush or loose snow. When there is too much mud or snow at the point of contact with the road surface, it is thanks to them that the car can continue to move confidently and without slipping.

Heading stability and maneuvering

If we take a closer look at the central rib, then you can see that it is not solid, but is divided by small zigzag slots. This is done in order to improve its efficiency in straight-line movement and little maneuvering. As a result, road holding is improved by increasing traction, and a vehicle equipped with Cordiant All Terrain tires can easily navigate small obstacles without shifting relative to the direction of travel.

When making sharper maneuvers, side blocks with multidirectional edges are connected. Therefore, if it is necessary to make a sharp turn without losing speed, the driver does not have to worry about the fact that it may be unsafe.

Lamella grid

As an all-season tire, one of its key features must be the ability to withstand the effects of aquaplaning. In the autumn-spring period, this is relevant, because torrential rains are quite common in almost all regions of the country. Due to the fact that the lamellas have a multidirectional arrangement and are quite wide in themselves, water can be effectively drained from the contact patch with the track in the shortest possible time.

Drivers who have equipped their cars with these tires, according to the manufacturer's assurances, do not have to worry about the fact that even with a sharp entry into a puddle, the car may "float". The efficient arrangement of the sipes of the Cordiant All Terrain 103H has a positive effect not only when driving on water, but also in winter, when you have to ride on loose snow. It is compressed inside the grooves without interfering with the vehicle and even providing better traction. When the wheels turn, the sipes are self-cleaning, which allows you to constantly repeat the cycle, and provides stability when driving on snow or slush.

Available sizes

Since the manufacturer directly indicates the preferred types of vehicles for installation, there are not many options in the dimensional grid. Tires are available in two inner diameters - 15 and 16 inches. For each of them, several options for the width of the working surface and the height of the profile have been released. The most popular among buyers is the standard size 205 * 70 R15. It is possible to choose a speed index. The maximum permissible speed varies between 180 and 210 kilometers per hour.

Positive feedback on the model

It's time to get acquainted with the opinion of drivers who have already been using this rubber in various conditions for quite a long time. Their feedback on the Cordiant All Terrain is one of the main criteria that clearly demonstrates the practicality of this model. Among the main positive qualities, they note the following:

  • Acceptable cost. Compared to other models on the market, this one has a really nice price and is available for low-income buyers.
  • Thoughtful tread pattern. In addition to being attractive and can beautify an SUV, the tire does a good job of performing the tasks set before it, showing its best side in all conditions.
  • Combating aquaplaning. Rubber easily removes excess water from the contact patch with the track, preventing the car from “swimming” due to surface tension.
  • High wear resistance. Abrasion resistance and high tread block height extend the tire life, allowing it to be used for tens of thousands of kilometers. According to reviews of the Cordiant All Terrain, these figures can change depending on the driving style.
  • Low noise level. Of course, rubber with a high tread has some unpleasant hum that occurs during movement, however, according to drivers, this model is noticeably quieter than direct competitors from the same segment.

As you can see from the above list, the tires of this model can be called successful. However, there are some drawbacks to consider before purchasing.

Negative sides of the model

Among the key disadvantages in Cordiant All Terrain reviews, the most common problem is balancing. Some users point out that after installing tires on rims, weights of up to 100 grams were sometimes required, which is not a very good indicator and indicates a lack of quality control at the exit from the conveyor. Some users note that the rubber is more oak compared to competitors' offers, but at the same time it behaves quite well in winter when it is freezing. Therefore, it is not worth talking about a low-quality rubber compound, it is simply adapted to withstand ultra-high loads.

Output

If you are a fan of off-road driving, have the right vehicle and want reliable tires, then you've come to the right place. The model in question has all the necessary features to ensure safety, driving comfort and cross-country ability in hard-to-reach places. It has a number of advantages that, along with its low cost, make it stand out from its competitors. And the disadvantages, although they exist, for some may seem insignificant, and for others - easily removable and do not affect the safety and comfort of travel.

Eugene about the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire

There are two versions of this tire - LT (triple ply, the most common) and standard (two-ply ply), differing in the index of permissible maximum load.

I have experience using LT. It is more durable, it is difficult to pierce it, but at the same time it is heavy (20-30% heavier than competitors of the A / T class; in my case, 24 kg versus 18-20 kg) and tough. On ordinary SUVs (and not pick-up trucks loaded to the eyeballs), the tire pressure on the asphalt must be kept about 0.2 atm below the recommended level, then the level of driving comfort will be acceptable. At the same time, significantly increased unresolved masses will not go anywhere - acceleration and braking will be difficult. At the same time, due to the rigid sidewall, the LT can withstand driving at low pressure without much fear of disassembling. The KO2 tread at a pressure below 1 atm allows you to move quite confidently over rough terrain, even in places of swampy. The tires are quiet, have good characteristics on dry and wet asphalt, and are acceptable in winter conditions. Wear resistance is good, on asphalt tires 265/70 / R17 121 / 118S leave 1 mm of tread per 10 thousand km (the tread height of a new tire is 11.6 mm)

In general, a successful model from a renowned manufacturer, mainly consisting of advantages. Among the minuses - a large weight for the LT / low strength of the sidewall for the standard, as well as a high price

Vladislav about the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire

I took the tires for the summer. Size 265/70/17. In total, the tires covered 70,000 km out of 110,000 of the total mileage. Depreciation 60-70%. Now it's season four and it looks like I'm going to roll it all back. The noise of tires on a pickup is a relative concept, for me personally there is no noise. These tires are slightly wider than the standard ones, so 1 liter was added to the consumption

Pluses: Amazingly strong sidewall. I compare with the wheels of comrades with whom we travel. In the same situations, standard (non-mud) tires go to hell! All four wheels have scars 3-4 mm deep and 3-5 cm long. Not a single hint of hernia and breakdowns. Every year I ride on rocky roads with sharp stones. There is no fear of breaking the sidewall.

The first puncture of the treadmill occurred at 60% wear. Before that, I even drove along sharp knots from trees, there were no problems.

In winter, these wheels are alarming. On ice and packed snow - poorly controlled, but you can ride. In the spring you change it a little earlier, that is, while the snow has not melted yet, and in the fall you put on winter tires a little later than everyone else.

It's beautiful with white letters on the sides!

Disadvantages: in a crisis - only the price))).

I would definitely buy it again, but we need to get out of the crisis!

Excellent tires, I bought them at the end of January, checked them during the March thaws, there were puddles and sometimes dirt, they were heavy, of course, the thickness of the sidewalls was almost 1.5 cm. They were soft even in the cold, they quickly dig in the snow, we’ll check how they will be in the summer. Generally very pleased with the tires, I advise!

Normul on the highway, soft rubber, snow is excellent, it does not hold on bare ice, like any other without spikes, I rolled through the forest, melted snow, crust / mud, 90/10, positive impressions, normal rowing is understandable, but there are changes between KO (before that it was) and KO2, the side blocks are cleaned, which was not observed in the KO, the center is still covered with melted snow, when the gas is released, it gets out of the rut, in the KO it did not want to get out of the rut, when the track is tilted to the side, it almost does not tighten. good. we'll see through the mud soon ...

Good day to all! I purchased these tires in the spring of 2017, studying the topic for a long time, weighing all the pros and cons (a little expensive). I live in the Murmansk region, and in the summer - in the fall, not many, but interesting routes were passed. These were forest sandy-mud-stone roads and paths, and

mountainous and not so directions and passable trails of the Khibiny with their rivers, streams and rocks, sandy-stone shores of the White Sea. And just gravel, hills and hillocks with open arable land with and without grass, large and small bare stones and covered with moss, including in the pouring rain. I was VERY regretful that I did not dare to go in these sneakers to the south - to Tuapse and Sochi districts (it happened so). Because there, too, were visited all kinds of dolmens, waterfalls and other attractions. I was physically unable to reach some places (abandoned lighthouses of the Second World War) on ordinary summer tires, but I was frankly afraid to others. I was looking forward to winter for testing KO2. Now I can say with complete confidence - the tires are really WINTER. I hope it is clear what I experienced for myself in order to know its real capabilities. Fortunately, we have more than enough snow and ice)). Many kilometers of roads were covered by just winter roads, snow-covered and skidded on the very rapids and higher, steep icy ascents and descents, and just urban conditions - rebuildings, rings, traffic lights with hillocks and slopes.

I can definitely say: All Terrain T / A KO2 is excellent winter as well as summer tires, because it can row and ride equally well both in winter and in summer! In conditions of 30-50% city / highway // 30-50% light off-road.

Now about those drivers and motorists who are on the right and left hand, that is, about the two opposites:

1) These are not MUD tires, and will not be suitable for sports and other frank off-road

2) This is not a track rubber, and for those who, from day to day, winds around, for example, Moscow - St. Petersburg, you need to definitely think about spikes. Although I myself tried 160-180 in winter and summer (I just tried it).

So: next time I will take only these tires or a newer model of them.

Good luck to all!

Mokrozub Andrey about the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire

Before buying, I chose from several models: 1) Yokohama Geolandar A / T,

2) Cooper Discoverer STT and of course BFGoodrich !!!

Nevertheless, I decided to take the latter, knowing that Goodrich is more durable than others.

I drove no more than 1000 km, until I regret it for a minute.

Holds the road perfectly, for me personally it is not noisy! I specially drove into puddles at speed to check how she would behave, so if you understand what I mean, then the steering wheel was so little that it was barely noticeable. Since I changed from winter to her early, I have already visited the spring thaw. Rows well, got out of potassium without any problems. In general, I am very pleased with the purchase. It is quite worth its money. And if there is a choice of a / t rubber, I highly recommend it.

Nivovod on the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire

For a long time I wanted to put goodrichi on the Niva, but did not want to leave the drain. Before that, the goodrichs of a / t KO were only in the size of 215/70/16 (in the stock field it strikes against the front edge of the locker when turning), and now KO2 has appeared in the size of 215/65/16. For the stock Niva, the most kakavo !!!)) While 2 weeks on these wheels - the flight is normal! After Contyre Expedition is noticeably harder and tougher. In terms of comfort, of course, it is quieter than mud, but, again, tougher! It rushes solidly through the mud, but like on the whole car, only with acceleration))) Since I recently don't plan to use them on them all year round, I will not put the stars on the control over snow and ice! For winter - winter tires! I will supplement the review later as I use it.

Of the shortcomings, I will only note the unreasonably high price. There are quite 100% competitors to this tire (I will not advertise manufacturers), but by 2-3 thousand rubles. cheaper per wheel.

Andrey about the BFGoodrich All Terrain T / A KO2 tire honest review

Previous story: Previously used tires of this model of the previous generation. I bought it at * Znamensky * car market in Irkutsk. I didn’t understand the markings, I was deceived by the seller. Thus, I rode on tires of 1984, 94, 04 and 2014, I will immediately note that they were poorly balanced (a lot of loads). Nevertheless, they showed themselves worthy: Yes, they were clogged with clay, but they were taken out of the abyss, peat, loam and black earth ones passed calmly, but they did not immediately leave the deep wet rut. Because the tires were not worn out, but basically, they were old by the year, then they dried out and hardened, covered with cracks (along the circle of the sidewalls and from the tread side, like cuts, towards the disc), which led to rapid wear. In 2016, the "cut" of the rear right wheel burst, healed by vulcanization (tire in 2004). In 2017, too, but on the inside of the front left wheel (tire in 1994). 2 tires from 1984 and 2014 remained in service. ., therefore, after long comparisons and budget estimates, I chose and ordered 2 tires of the same brand, but in a fresh (KO 2) version, and installed in the front (June 17). the decisive role in the choice was played by the fact that 60% of the pattern coincide. Delivered from the company "Mosavtoshina" to Angarsk in a week, "Business Lines". The month was intoxicating with the smell of fresh rubber, I thought to order the next pair in the winter of 2018, but decided to act proactively (order in July) and it was not in vain: at the end of August, the car on an ideal road began to evenly "wiggle like on a transverse wave", especially this it was noticeable when driving slowly in a traffic jam, it turned out; on the tire of 2014 (the youngest), a hernia appeared 20 cm long and 7 cm wide, along the tread pattern. Thus, now I have a spare tire: a survival champion American without a camera in 1984 (there was still a time for food coupons in the USSR).

Model KO 2, in October it has already covered 2000 km. Now I hope for a greater resource of these tires (on the expedition forums). On the old model, the lack of side protection-lugs frightened me, because. you could run into a cut. Now it helps to actively get out of the "wet" rut. KO 2 cannot be called seasonal, even for a temperate climate, they got stiff and began to buzz in October at +5 degrees and began to slip in the mud. For the winter, right away on the discs I have a set of "Hancock I-pike", which does not go badly even on the March wet, completely covered, untouched (50-60 cm) hunting road with fragments of the tracks of a snowmobile and an ATV.

BF Goodrich tires, I think the best choice, because. they have shown their endurance in practice (by the way, in a rough rock). The price is certainly high, but if you distribute it by mileage, it turns out that it is less than other brands. Here is a story from life.

After careful consideration, it was decided to install ATshny Goodrich KO2. The choice of this model was due to the following reasons:

1) Approximate compliance of the characteristics of this rubber with the operating conditions of our Grand Vitara

2) Analogs (Cooper ST, Goodyeat Wrangler Duratrac, etc.) do not have dimensions 225/70 r16 (standard for our Grand Vitara)

3) Among ATshnyh tires in size 225/70 r16 Goodrich KO2 has the most evil tread pattern.

Now about the rubber.

1) In the city - gorgeous! Quiet, like the previous road, it even treats pits and sunbeds a little softer.

2) On the highway - good too! In the range of 80-100 km / h, a small noise is heard, vaguely reminiscent of a MTShku, but much quieter (and up to 80 and after 100 it seems to be absent). The dynamics did not fall, the fuel consumption did not increase. The handling of the car remained good, even at 140-160 km / h.

3) Off-road - worthy for AT. I drove only on soggy black soil. Of course, it is not worth comparing with MT, this rubber lathers more, the car throws and shakes more, but unlike a highway, it works, somehow it hooks into the ground, and somehow cleans itself on the sides. In any case, riding on mud has become much more confident!

The appearance of the car with these wheels has become more off-road and more brutal :)

The price tag, of course, is considerable. Without tire fitting, a set of 4 wheels cost about 43 thousand. But this rubber 100% fulfills its purpose and perfectly copes with its tasks! I highly recommend this model to the owners of such cars as Suzuki Grand Vitara, Renault Duster (and its twin Nissan Terrano), as it fits perfectly into the conditions for which these cars are intended (city-highway-moderate off-road). I am very happy with the choice!

The Cordiant All Terrain is an all-season budget tire with a symmetrical tread pattern for SUVs. Designed for mixed operating conditions - off-road and urban roads.

Cordiant All Terrain test from the Russian magazine "Za Rulem", conducted in 2013

In 2013, experts from the Russian magazine "Za Rulem" tested the all-season tire Cordiant All Terran in the size of 215/65 R16 and compared it with eleven budget, medium and premium tires. The tests were performed with similar off-road tires as well as conventional road tires.

Test results

According to the results of the test, Cordiant All Terrain took 11th place in the overall standings. Against the background of road tires, it showed the expectedly weak braking and handling on asphalt, but it showed itself best of all on a dirt road.

Economy at 90 km / h11-12 Fuel consumption is 0.3 l / 100 km higher than that of the test leader.

Review of the experts who conducted the test:

Since the tire is designed for driving on a dirt road, then on asphalt it brakes slightly as expected (although on a wet surface the braking distance is shorter than that of the premium Dunlop). The car "rocks" at high speed. When trying to smoothly rebuild from lane to lane, at first it behaves sluggishly, and then abruptly goes into a skid on the rear axle. The speed of the rearrangement is average, but the car's handling is difficult. The tire is stiff and noisy during the ride, especially at speeds above 50 km / h. Low fuel efficiency.

I bought a UAZ Patrick on a Cordiant 4x4 235/70 R16 in size. Wear about 40%. For Patrick this is the smallest size, although the stock equipment is in this size. In summer around the city; acceleration due to the size is high-spirited (on 33 sneakers it is already sluggish :) ...), harsh on broken roads with a broken suspension ... on 33 sneakers on gravel 100-110 speed, on Korda in this size 70-80 km / h already good. But on asphalt it is better than 33 MT, nevertheless ATshka. Clay, sand, black earth floats on soggy mud, depending on how wet the earth is. For the summer it is a city, to a village, a picnic ... without fanaticism. For the Patriot, it is small.

Winter came, snow piled up in Novosibirsk in 2016, that the kammunalschiks squeak, do not have time to clean, a state of emergency was announced. on precipitation. Here is a check of the tires, although the set of winter was on the disks. Until the frosts passed - 10 degrees, the ride was tolerable ... rarely turned on 4 HP ... even over a snow porridge of 15 cm, but more accurate in turns. And as the frost passed over 15 ... already 4VD and with the brakes more accurate, slippery tires, in a turn - blows away on slippery. The last drop in frost under 20 ku on a rolling snow cover during braking, I had to choose a tree or a metal fence from pipes, I chose the middle between the tree and the pipes to the radiator :) As a result, a little paint on the bumper flew off the side (I missed the tree and did not roll the pipes into the radiator ) this was the last straw that it was time to change the tires ...

When changing to winter tires, everything fell into place ... 245/70 R16 in a slightly larger size ... You can ahead of the stream, confident acceleration, less often 4VD.

About winter, although they say that the rubber is from minus 45, but my opinion is not lower than 10 frost ... or it is an ice sledge ... maybe from old age the rubber has already lost its properties ... And for the Patriot it is too small.

Yes, when changing tires, the car drove smoothly, without toe adjustments ... I read that I was not the only one.

The tires themselves are harsh, I don’t claim, but it feels like the sidewall is reinforced. The ride was mainly in the city, but we also skated on the track a couple of times. With aquaplaning everything is in order, they slow down on dry and wet asphalt perfectly. Noisy, but all pseudo-seasons suffer from this. Driving on the highway up to 110-120 km / h does not cause discomfort, but higher it began to knock into the steering wheel. If you drive wisely, the tires are good.

Cordiant All Terrain: native tires in foreign mud

Russian tire Cordiant All Terrain we tested it in its natural habitat - Costa Rica. If anyone has forgotten - this is on the isthmus connecting North and South America, and proudly called Central America. The country is located between Panama and, sorry, Honduras. You will be surprised, but it is there that ours is in quite good demand.

A decent vehicle was chosen for us - Toyota Fortuner (well, yes, it turns in the language of 4Runner - it's still a close relative on Hilux units). The car is simple, unpretentious, spacious. We drove along the asphalt for a fair part of the way. It must be said that the roads here are not bad and even, but it was alarming that the main car park was made up of off-road models. It was later that we realized that even asphalt could rest against a stone primer - and take me out, curve ... In the morning hours, until the scorching heat forced us to batten down all the cracks and turn on the air conditioner, we drove with the windows down and - can you imagine this? - us at all not bothered by the hum of rubber... Although, it would seem, there is something to make noise, because the protector consists of toothed blocks with sharp edges. But let's pay tribute to the designers, they managed to calculate the step of the blocks in such a way as to exclude resonant beating on the road. Directional stability and steering response also at a height - in many respects here is the merit of a massive central rib, cut into transverse lamellas.

“Let's go to the ocean,” suggested a partner. Why not, even if the road to the shore is strewn with large cobblestones.

Our Fortuner effortlessly jumped over the stone parapet, and immediately the tires underwent a thorough medical examination for hernias and cuts... However, a colleague was fussing, and I have long been familiar with the Cordiant method of creating a particularly strong frame. As expected, the rubber was intact. We could continue to write how we lit on a flat strip of the beach and repelled the sharp edges of the blocks from the wet sand in front of the dark-skinned beauties (by the way, short and round-faced, like nesting dolls), but it turned out differently ... we were banally driven from the shore like schoolchildren - a gray-haired pot-bellied caretaker in a uniform blue shirt. Fortuner ran away from him beautifully - right, "pushing off the wet sand with the sharp edges of the blocks" ...

If you climb the mountains, then there are real tests for the tires: the real jungle begins. This is when red clay gives way to wet grass, slippery leaf mat, or loose sand. And the best thing about these tires is that we barely remembered them. And what to remember if the car is driving, consider without slipping, and even brazenly overcomes most of the way on the rear wheel drive.

So that my story does not look like an advertising report, to be honest: I have met tires in this category that are quieter, and more stable, and more grippy. And a few days were clearly not enough to test their strength and durability. But demonstrated here by the Cordiant All Terrain model a set of balanced characteristics at a very affordable price allows you to recommend the tire to the widest range of SUVs.

The model is sold in seven standard sizes: 205/70 R15 100H (from 2720 rubles); 225/70 R16 103H; 215/70 R16 100H; 215/65 R16 98H; 235/75 R15 109T; 235/60 R16 104T; 245/70 R16 111T (from 4310 p.)

And what else?..

BFGoodrich All Terrain: with "worms"

BFGoodrich All Terrain - a tire that has literally become a benchmark in the segment and a marker of the "understanding jeep". The model is different characteristic worm tread pattern... A special pitch of the arrangement of the tread blocks with self-locking elements stabilizes the central part of the tread and does not allow it to "walk". ShoulderLock technology, when the interblock grooves expand from the base to the working surface of the tread, provides excellent grip in off-road conditions.

Add in the dual-layer rubber compound that's stiffened at the base, the high-strength TriGard casing with triple layer of polyester, two wide layers of steel belt, a skid ring and reinforced sidewall construction - and it becomes clear why this tire is one of the market leaders.

But you have to pay for the pleasure, and the price tag for the tire can hardly be called humane. For example, the popular size 215/70 R16 100R starts at 6000 rubles, and for a large tire 285/65 R20 127 / 124S be ready to shell out 33,500 rubles.

Yokohama Geolandar A / T-S G012: all-season, but not for the Arctic

At one time, the Russian division of Yokohama did not even spend on advertising this tire - it already went into the air. This is one of the most impressive looking models in the A / T segment: aggressive stepped tread design with the name DAN-DAN bristles with pronouncedly large blocks and promises confident movement on any roads. The powerful central rib, as if made of large oblong tiles, stands out especially. Usage five-step tread technology allowed to reduce resonance and minimize noise. The rubber is very self-cleaning when it comes to ordinary dirt, but in heavy clay, the tread tends to "blur". Dislikes mix and low temperatures, so it is better not to use it as an all-season for cold areas.

However, in terms of price and quality, the model is among the market leaders. Let's say the size 205/70 R15 96S starts at 3600 p.

Goodyear Wrangler AT / R: reliable grip, but ...

A charismatic tire with an aggressive pattern lined with triangular blocks, designed for driving on urban roads and country roads. Multidirectional tread blocks with radial and longitudinal blades ready to catch on any unevenness on the road, additional grip due to multiple edges. This ensures reliable grip of the tire on any type of road surface.

Although the manufacturer claims that the special design of the blocks of the shoulder area of the tread reduces the level of external noise, but, according to customer reviews, the tire behaves softer on the ground, and it makes a noticeable noise on the asphalt... The silicon-containing compound of the rubber compound with a special polymer makes the compound flexible enough to adhere well to both dry and wet surfaces, and the reinforced frame made of modern ultra-strong materials allows you not to be afraid of boulders and bumps. Noteworthy is the developed negative profile of the tire, that is, the system of grooves and channels, which effectively removes moisture and dirt from the contact patch.

Inexpensive and widespread standard sizes of this tire in our market, and the relatively small size 265/70 R15 112T starts at 6250 rubles.

Bridgestone Dueler A / T 697: Biting Tread, But Not Price

A premium tire for trouble-free city and off-road driving. At first glance, a toothy drawing created using computer simulation, due to the optimized shape of the blocks and elastic rubber, actually reduces noise, vibrations and makes driving a car comfortable and quiet and the reinforced tire sidewall effectively distributes the load and resists cuts and punctures. The shape of the grooves is designed in such a way as to quickly drain water, pushing back the aquaplaning threshold. Optimized shoulder block edges significantly reduce noise and tread wear... Unique, seamless combination of shoulder blocks and lugs creates a seamless shoulder area. The reinforced sidewall effectively distributes the load, improves resistance to cuts and punctures.

With all the advantages and high market positioning, the price of a tire is not as biting as its tread. For the size 205/70 R15 96S they ask from 3800 rubles, and even a relatively large 285/75 R16 122R will cost a rather sparing 7450 rubles.

Outcomes

So, we need the appropriate rubber, which is capable of keeping the correct course, and clinging to sand, clay and the bottom of the forced mud baths. The best recipe for this: 50% asphalt and the same amount of off-road, shake well ... What do we get in the end? All Terrain tires.
