My old friend had a "real" trouble - a new trunk, bought in a car dealership together with a UAZ, fell apart after the very first fishing trip!

It was a collapsible version of rectangular and square pipes. The lugs of the side posts are made of steel with a thickness of only 1 mm. 5. Having joined the original tubes in pairs, cut to size and weld on the intermediate cross members (item 12) and longitudinal inserts (item 11).
6. Weld the support rods (detail 17) to the flattened support ends (item 3).
7. After the final welding of all seams, carry out the finishing straightening of the product and clean the welded seams.
8. Prime and paint the finished trunk.
