But the world community did not have time to look back, as in February 2017, the management of Chevrolet presented a track version of the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 model, to the name of which the prefix "1LE" was added. The debut of the track muscle car took place during the annual Daytona 500 race, which traditionally opened the new NASCAR racing season.
Compared to the “ZL1” version, the 2018-2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE received a slightly modified aerodynamic body kit, a retuned chassis, a more efficient braking system and a maximum equipment level.

Compared to the "ZL1" version, the car received a slightly modified design of a huge air intake, on which a small ZL1 nameplate flaunts, as well as an improved front bumper in terms of aerodynamics, with a larger front splitter and additional elements.
The embossed hood, a thin strip of false radiator grille and formidable head optics, with spectacular ribbons of daytime running lights, remained in place.
New Profile has classic muscle car proportions, and also boasts spectacular aerodynamic side skirts, powerful wheel arches and large 19-inch wheels shod with Goodyear Eagle F1-Supercar 3R tires, which were specially developed for this model.

The average fuel consumption, given the presence of a powerful V8, is a “modest” 15.5 l / 100 km, and on the highway the car is able to meet the figure of 11.8 liters (provided that its owner does not press the “sneaker” into the floor).
The Camaro ZL1 1LE is based on the proprietary Alpha rear-wheel drive platform, represented by a multi-link suspension system in front and a five-link rear. Unlike the ZL1 version, the track version received the ability to quickly adjust the camber, as well as the ability to adjust the anti-roll bars.
In addition, American engineers built a self-locking rear differential into the rear axle.
